Results:
Number of Hops: 19 Hops
Average time (in milliseconds) from the tools site to the server: 250 milliseconds
IP Number of the hostname curtin.edu.au is: 134.7.179.53
The results from tracing the route from centralops.net to curtin.edu.au were:

I downloaded the A Toolbar from the Tucows website. This did not work initially so I had a look at the discussion board and found that James had the same problem. It was not solved on the discussion board. I then googled A Tool Bar and found the working link. (I also let James know).
The Ping results are as follows:

Comments: It was much quicker from the Central Ops website to ping the webct site. I was surprised at this result because I thought the tool bar would be faster because I would have thought that going through the Centrals Ops site would have added more hops.
ie. My computer to Central Ops (along its route)
then on to the webct site
as opposed to going directly from my computer to the webct site.
